Terms & Conditions
Drivers must have a valid license issued within no less than one year. An International Driving License is needed by Greek Legislation for all renters who are not citizens of the European Community or who don't have an EU Drivers permit. Driving Licenses with character types not readable in Greek or English need to be accompanied by an International Driving License.
Age Requirement
The renter driver as well as any additional drivers have to be at least 23 years old for all automobile groups except F1, G, G1, H, H1, H2 for which the minimum is age is 25 years of age. The maximum age limit for all the groups is 75 years.
Traffic Penalties and Administrative Sanctions
Traffic Penalties, fees and appended administrative sanctions caused by any kind of violation of the Greek Traffic law while in rent time period, are exclusively the renter's responsibility. If any such administrative sanctions are not disclosed to the company by the end of your rental time period, the penalty costs are going to be billed to you following any and all international legal channels.
Accident / negligent driving
In the unfortunate event of an automobile accident the closest police station must be informed and an accident report has to be obtained. This report is issued by the police and with this report the renter responsibility is eliminated. Without this report the renter will be held responsible for the entire cost of the vehicle repairs. Additionally make sure to inform our company immediately. Absolutely no unauthorized maintenance must be made.
Regarding negligence, driving while intoxicated, driving a car under influence of drugs or on unauthorized streets, driving to forbidden areas, clear behavior of disregard to the automobile, the renter is going to be accountable for the entire amount of any penalty or repair costs.
Across the border and ferrying car rentals
Ferrying the car to any destination outside the Island of Crete is not allowed. All insurances will be voided and the renter will be responsible for any damages caused if the vehicle is driven anywhere else than the Island of Crete.
Fuel
Fuel will always be paid by the renter. The renter is required to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had when he rented it.
After-hours delivery and collections
After-hours delivery (21:00 - 08:00) are subject to a 20.00 € charge.If your flights is delayed more that 2 hours the extras is 40 € in total
